EN: I've always had some kind of fascination with the bohemian way of life, you know, about living and being free and creative beyond convention! I feel the same about the modern 'boho chic' style, one of the most interesting and creative styles of today, first popularized by celebrities like Sienna Miller, Nicole Richie, the Olsen twins and Kate Moss. A combination of  hippie, modern and folk, it continues to evolve (while essentially remains the same), it's easy to recognize and and looks incredibly chic if it's well executed! The key to successfully adopting this style is to look natural and individual, yet effortless at the same time.
I personally love some bohemian inspiration in my outfits, especially during summer, it just seems like the perfect season to incorporate or adopt this trend. Just think about flowy maxi dresses and skirts, floral prints, embroidered tunics, faux fur, chunky jewelry and hobo bags. Bliss!

RO: Am fost mereu fermecata de stilul de viata boem, creativ, neconventional. De acea categorie aparte a lumii urbane admirata in secret si dezaprobata in aceeasi masura, blamata pt lipsa ancorarii in realitate si gandirea idealistica sau aplaudata pt lipsa prejudecatilor. Cu un aer usor nostalgic si asociat inevitabil mediului artistic reprezentat de scriitori, muzicieni, plasticieni  dar si intelectualilor care practicau un mod de viata fara constrangeri sociale si spiritelor libere in general, traiul boem este transpus si in vestimentatie, afisand aceleasi atribute. 

Cu o singura exceptie insa. In contrast cu lejeritatea si nesupunerea modului de viata boem, stilul 'boho chic' e unul complex si pretentios, necesitand multa atentie in compunerea unei tinute. Orice piesa in plus sau minus poate strica tot farmecul. Chiar daca nu ma identific in totalitate cu stilul asta si cateodata ma iau cu mainile de cap cand vad cum e interpretat la celebrul festival Coachella, ma dau in vant dupa usoare influente boemiene, mai ales pe durata sezonului estival, cand zilele toride si noptile lungi de vara ne indeamna catre creativitate si lejeritate in tinute. Si ce e mai potrivit pt un rezultat de efect decat rochiile si fustele maxi, imprimeurile florale, palariile si impletiturile, broderiile etno, tunicile transparente sau accesoriile franjurate?
